Painted in 1907 by renowned Spanish master Joaqu\u00edn Sorolla (1863-1923)<\/b>, this delicate portrait features Alfonso de Borb\u00f3n y Battenberg, Prince of Asturias<\/b> (the eldest son of King Alfonso XIII of Spain and Queen Victoria Eugenie) at just two months of age. While internationally celebrated as the “Master of Sunlight” for his vibrant beach scenes, Sorolla was also an elite portraitist of his era.
