László Moholy-Nagy – Project for the sculpture Bennett (1946) Constructivism Canvas Art – Hand-Painted Oil Reproduction by Dafen Village Studio

Created in 1846—the final year of László Moholy-Nagy’s life—Project for the sculpture Bennett embodies the master’s lifelong devotion to Constructivism, spatial dynamics, and light experimentation. Developed during his time leading the Institute of Design in Chicago (the “New Bauhaus”), this work explores the interaction between industrial geometry, architectural form, and three-dimensional spatial transparency. Moholy-Nagy’s precise intersection of planes and structural lines turns a sculptural plan into a vibrant abstract statement on paper and canvas.
