Hand-Painted “Chaos (The Creation)” (1841) Oil Painting Reproduction – Ivan Aivazovsky Fine Art | Dafen Studio

Witness the genesis of the world through the vision of Romanticism’s supreme marine painter. Ivan Aivazovsky’s 1841 masterpiece, Chaos (The Creation) (The Genesis), captures the profound moment divine light pierces the primordial darkness to bring form to the dark, turbulent ocean below. So deeply admired by Pope Gregory XVI upon its creation in Rome, the original painting was acquired for the Vatican and now resides in the Museum of the Mekhitarist Congregation at San Lazzaro degli Armeni in Venice.

Handcrafted layer by layer by professional studio artists in Pueblo de la Pintura al Óleo de Dafen, this high-end reproduction is 100% hand-painted using premium oil paints on artist-grade canvas. Every dramatic cloud contrast, delicate wave reflection, and ethereal ray of divine sunlight is meticulously rendered to capture the spiritual depth and emotional intensity of this celebrated fine art reproduction.
