László Moholy-Nagy – Z II Constructivism Canvas Art – Hand-Painted Oil Reproduction by Dafen Village Studio

Z II represents one of László Moholy-Nagy’s most celebrated achievements in Constructivism and spatial dynamics. Part of his seminal series exploring letterform nomenclature and non-objective geometry, the work investigates the perception of light, space, and motion without relying on traditional perspective. By overlaying translucent geometric shapes—crossing diagonal bands, sharp planes, and subtle color fields—over a neutral background, Moholy-Nagy creates an optical illusion of luminous forms weightlessly suspended in three-dimensional space, embodying the Bauhaus ideal of art and structural logic.
