Zheng Taijun: Original Artist from Dafen Village

Mr. Zheng Taijun, born in Zhanjiang, developed a love for sculpture from a young age under his grandfather’s guidance. His artistic journey has been diverse and rich: he has worked on temple sculptures, designed sets for Yue Opera troupes, and pursued a career in photography. His experiences are varied and profound, including fasting while painting, engaging in photography during extensive travels, climbing trees, singing, and spending years practicing art in temples. He has also ventured alone into deserts and grasslands, facing life-and-death challenges. His art, like the man himself, is characterized by its simplicity and purity, possessing an ethereal and transcendent quality.
